Most of the people these days make promises on daily basis and later on neglect them just because of the fact that there are no proofs. But this is a true fact that the ones who fulfill their commitments get to live the life to the fullest. A man of words always win, whereas the ones who refrain from their commitments live a life of lies as they don't value the beautiful and strong power human beings have.Underestimating the power of nature hasn't done any good to anyone ever.
Out of all the species living on this planet, only human beings have the power to communicate through words, which is truly a bliss in itself. When people do promises, they not only make a commitment to the other person but to themselves as well. And when those promises are broken, they not only disrespect the other person but themselves too. It doesn't take much effort to make any promise these days and breaking it is the simplest task which people do. But have you ever questioned, what goes in the mind of the other person who trusted you at the very first place just because you uttered few words. When they get to see the real you as all the words you promised were mere words and didn't carry any significance. Such thunderclaps result in mental and emotional trauma. This way you not only devalue the emotions of other person but harm your self esteem. No one in this world likes to be betrayed but this is what happens today most of the times.
It has been said many times that TRUST is the most necessary element in every relationship, be it your relationship with your boss, friends, family or lover. It requires really hard efforts to build on trust but just a fragment of seconds to break it forever. These days people find it very easy to lie even on the smallest matter and it can bring them out of certain situation very easily. But have you ever thought of choosing the hard way and face the real consequences? This is where the difference between a coward and hero lies. And the strangest fact is that everyone has the choice to choose what they want to be, yet most of the people choose to be COWARDS, at least this is what I have witnessed so far in my surroundings. Very few people have the heart to face their failings and accept the reality. Not everyone's heart is make of steel which can admit and correct their follies.
When we raise the expectations of other people around us by making commitments and later on don't fulfill them, it is not their defeat but ours. This depicts that we 're failing in our responsibilities and the day is not far when we won't be able to look ourselves in mirror. Before doing promises we should always think, whether we 'll be able to stand on it in future or not. 'WORDS' are not just 'WORDS' but a power given to us, so using it in an appropriate manner is our duty. I have seen people who trust people so easily that they trust every single word of the people who 're there in their lives. Such innocent souls are the ones who suffer the most at the hands of some COWARDS. If someone has done something then they should have the courage to face consequences, whatsoever it may be. Running should never be an option as one day or the other one has to stop and face the mirror of reality. And that day no one 'll be there to save them from their inner guilt. So it's better to repent before you regret one day.
Now, Do you remember the last promise you did to anyone? Did you really mean it? Or was it just a momentarily thing?
THINK and REPENT ! Because there is no point in regretting later on ! Be a HERO. Cleanse your SOUL :)
