Escapism: Liberation or Confinement?

In life, have you ever tried to escape?
By avoiding things, how can one feel liberated?
As we avoid things, when we want to keep ourselves protected. But, does it really work?
What urges people to escape, rather than facing situations. Is it too hard to stand and accept whatever the results are? All these questions have been running through my mind since last two three months. As I have seen people who tried to do every possible thing to escape from their actions.

Such people are nonetheless than a coward who can't take responsibility for their deeds. They can downgrade humanity till such extent that they can even fake someone's death. This is what I experienced a few days back, when a person close to me attempted such demoted way to escape his issues. Such people are so egocentric that they don't even think about the consequences of such serious lies. Lying is the best way for them to avoid complications as their priority is to get rid of their problems even if it means to mess everything in someone's life.

But does it really liberate them? I mean how can one feel free if they are escaping from something. In my opinion, it complicates situation even more as people need to keep running in order to save themselves but for how long one can run? There 'll be a day when one has to stop and face things. Then, why not do it at very first place, in spite of evading for so long. Escapism brings them close to confinement and they don't even realize this thing that they are trapped forever. Such people can't see their reflection in mirror as all they can watch is a dark soul. Yes ! their souls are dark, rotten from within as like a parasite they benefit themselves from the other people around. There isn't any redemption for such souls.

So, the best way to tackle any situation is to firmly face whatever is coming and then accepting the consequences one is responsible for. Hiding behind great walls of lies 'll do no good to anyone as lies can't survive for long. Their lifespan is too short.

Castles built on shallow promises are the ones to be destroyed first by the west wind.
